Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to personalize and improve our service. We collect the following types of information from our users:
We may receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features. The personal information you provide may be used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials, sales offers and new products.
We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Zipolo if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We may also send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-email or other mail from us, please update your profile under the "Profile" section of the website.
For purposes such as improving personalization of our service, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information.
We use both session ID and persistent cookies. A session cookie expires when you close you browser. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site.
A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.
If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as contests or surveys, will be limited.
If you request a shipment from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as a credit card number and expiration date).
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
We collect information about your commercial behavior, such as destination of your shipment, length of time, weight, etc. We use this information to improve our product and service offerings
We may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address) and demographic information.
We use this information to notify contest winners and award prizes, to monitor site traffic, or to personalize the site (in the case of anonymous information collected in surveys) and to send participants an email newsletter.
We may use a third party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests; that company may not be prohibited from using our users’ personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
From time to time we may offer the opportunity for members to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site. We will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Zipolo stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
Your friend may contact us at remove@Zipolo.com to request that we remove this information from our database.
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, to manage your account, and to provide the best customer service possible.
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, to create a “profile” of your preferences. We may tie your personally identifiable information, and your purchasing history, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you.
We do not share your profile with other third parties.
We use third party software to verify your identity and address, in order to ensure proper shipping and billing procedures.
We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone. We share your personal information only with your consent or to the business partners and affiliates as described below:
We are affiliated with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. We will only share personal information that is necessary for the affiliate to complete the transaction. We require our affiliates to provide the same level of privacy protection that we do and they do not have the right to share or use personal information for any purpose other than for an authorized transaction.
Our personnel (including, for the avoidance of doubt, consultants and/or contractors) may have access to user information while carrying out their duties in the normal course of our company business.
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Examples include fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments, and providing customer service. You hereby consent to our sharing of your personal information for the above purposes
We may send offers to certain users on behalf of other businesses. However, when we do so, we do not give the other business your name and address. If you do not wish to receive these offers, please update your profile under the "Profile" section of the website.
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if Zipolo, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party.
We may co-market our products or products of one of our partners by sending you e-mails, where you have previously evidenced interest in the products of that designer or partner. For instance, we may send an e-mail to all customers who are storing Brand X running shoes with us, advertising the launch of their next generation of running shoe, or the availability of a new product, designed by Brand X. We do not provide your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information to those designers or partners.
If there are particular forms of marketing information that you do not wish to receive please send an email at email@example.com with specific details on the marketing materials that you do not wish to receive.

We encourage you to be aware when you leave the Website and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by making the change on your account or by emailing our Customer Support at support@Zipolo.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.

Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You can access your personal information on our website and correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate by updating your profile under the "Account" section of the website.
As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, but then you may be unable to use certain features on our website.
You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the "What Personal Information About Users Does Zipolo Collect?" section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
You may request deletion of your Zipolo account by sending an email to us or contacting us at our support page. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.
As explained earlier, the "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. Please note, however, that if your browser does not accept cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of some of our attractive features.
You must be 18 years and older to register to use the Zipolo website. As a result, Zipolo does not specifically collect information about children.
